Kaspersky Lab has introduced a portable drone detection device Kaspersky Antidrone Portable. This was reported by the press service of the company.

Kaspersky Lab has developed a wearable device to protect against drones

The mobile RF detector is designed for public events and private property protection. The device detects commercial UAVs by radio signal and calculates the exact location within a radius of up to one kilometer.

In addition, Kaspersky Antidrone Portable determines the location of the operator. The detector is equipped with a waterproof tablet based on Kaspersky Antidrone software, in the graphical interface of which a notification about detected drones is sent.

The device weighs less than 5 kg and fits in a carry-on suitcase. In offline mode, the device works for about two hours. In this case, the operator, freely moving around the perimeter of the protected area, can independently expand the search radius. The device can be integrated into other systems.

Earlier, in 2019, the company introduced Kaspersky Antidrone, specialized software for protection against commercial drones.
