In Russia, 71% of working citizens were dissatisfied with their salaries. Nearly half believe it should double or more. One in five dreams of a 40-50% increase and one in four dreams of a 20-40% increase.
In most cases, the salary does not suit employees in the areas of “medicine and pharmaceuticals”, here 84% of respondents are not satisfied with the income, “tourism, hotels and restaurants” – 80% and “lawyers” – 76%. This is confirmed by the HeadHunter study, available to RIA Novosti, reports the Prime agency.
Only 26% of Russians reported that they are quite satisfied with the level of current salaries. Compared to 2022, the proportion of such responses dropped by 4 percentage points.
The company’s analysts interviewed 5,300 Russian applicants for the study.

The “dream salary” of Russians in February 2023 amounted to a record 181 thousand rubles per month. The average salary in Russia is less than 60 thousand rubles. Most citizens do not have enough savings for at least 3 months.
