31% of entrepreneurs tried to raise prices to consumers in the second half of 2022 to increase marginality, but faced falling sales, a Delobank survey, reviewed by RB.RU, showed.
Consumers were unwilling to pay more for household goods, and companies were forced to find other ways to maintain or increase profits.
In particular, the entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized companies began to compare the conditions of banking services. The survey showed that 26% of entrepreneurs are ready to switch to another bank and have compared acquisition conditions at least once in the last three months in the hope of reducing transaction costs.
The most sensitive to the cost of acquiring services were 6 business sectors: fast food, restaurants and cafeterias, medical services, travel agencies and tour operators, supermarkets, and public services.
The survey was conducted between March and April 2023 and 1,000 Delobank business clients across Russia participated.
