The goal is to let Alexa create unique and interactive experiences, such as creating bedtime stories for kids based on cues, and using cameras to identify toys and involve them in the story.

While these potential use cases can provide Amazon with detailed insights into customer habits, they can also raise concerns about the collection of sensitive data.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassi believes productive AI has recently reached an unprecedented level of capability. But the success of these efforts doesn’t guarantee adequate revenue or keep the voice assistant afloat.
