Of the ten medals won by the Russian participants, seven were gold.

A total of 113 schoolchildren from 21 Eurasian and South American countries participated in the Olympics, including Israel, Austria, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. The Russian team consisted of ten students, winners of the All-Russian Chemistry Olympiad for schoolchildren.

Moscow, St. Seven Russian students from different cities of the country, including St. Petersburg, Kazan, Ufa and Saransk, won gold medals. In addition, two students received a silver medal and one a bronze medal.

Andrei Dubinsky, an 11th grade student from Saransk, is the absolute winner of the Olympiad and the winner of the Academician Valery Lunin Prize, 2 million rubles.

Gold medal winners will receive 1 million rubles from the state, silver medalists 500,000 rubles, and bronze medalists 400,000 rubles.
