Apple introduced Final Cut Pro video editor and Logic Pro audio editor for iPad. Previously, these apps were only available on Mac.
Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad have received new interfaces that are adapted to touch screens.
Final Cut Pro supports Apple Pencil. With it, users can write text directly on top of the video, and pencils allow you to quickly apply and rewind materials on the timeline.
By connecting a Magic Keyboard or Smart Keyboard Folio, Final Cut Pro applications use hotkeys and the trackpad.
Final Cut Pro on iPad has a new Pro Camera mode that lets you shoot video with manual settings. You can change exposure, white balance, focus, orientation, and sound source.
The Fast Cut feature uses machine learning in Apple processors to remove the rear light without green screen.
Logic Pro for iPad users can use Apple Pencil to make precise edits to a project. Also adventure touch keys when touchpad is connected.
In addition, Logic Pro has a full-fledged mixer, 100 audio applications, and a new sound library that contains a wide variety of samples and loops.
Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro will hit the App Store on May 23rd. Both will be available on a subscription basis for $4.99/month or $49/year.
Final Cut Pro requires an iPad with an M1 or M2 processor. Logic Pro requires an A12 Bionic chip or later. [Apple]
