The online clothing and footwear store Lamoda has launched a new functionality: “What to wear with”. During the selection of products on the platform, the buyer will receive offers in the form of collected capsule images. This was reported to RB.RU by a company representative.
More than 400,000 products from the platform’s catalog will have a “What to wear” clue on the cards. After clicking on it, the client will be offered up to 10 different looks with clothes, shoes and accessories.
The company pointed out that an algorithm trained on the basis of big data is responsible for the formation of the image. Its formation was based on the formulas of the “ideal capsules” of the fashion experts Lamoda, and other parameters that are important for the products in the image to look harmonious and to offer the user suitable products.
Now the new feature can be used by customers of the Lamoda mobile app on IOS and Android. There are plans to add “What to Wear” to the web version of the online platform. The service is available to Lamoda users in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
- At the beginning of March 2023, Lamoda launched the AI service for clothing selection. Based on artificial intelligence, the tool will show the user a large number of products and, after his reaction, whether he likes it or not, will narrow the range to the most suitable offers.
- Later, Lamoda customized the delivery of products from its catalog for users using artificial intelligence (AI). The platform analyzes which products will be of interest to the user and will now start showing them first.
