Ozon has launched a new logistics center in Kazakhstan for local merchants, this time in Almaty. This was reported by the Telegram channel Ozon HQ.
The company opened the first warehouse complex in February 2023 in Astana.
“The new logistics facility in Almaty will facilitate market access for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as reduce delivery times for city residents to one day,” the online platform said in a statement.
The warehouse complex provides a full cycle of online order processing: it receives products from sellers, stores them, completes packages and sends them to buyers.
As reported, the capacity of the center is enough to process up to 80 thousand orders per day. In total, it owns more than 700 thousand assets. The first logistics center in Astana can accept the same quantity.
