According to FSSP director Dmitry Aristov, Google has become the largest borrower among Internet resources in Russia. He noted that a significant portion of the fines had already been collected. While Google LLC is currently in the process of bankruptcy, the effect of the bailiffs’ actions on the company is limited.

Google’s lawsuit against the FSSP reflects the ongoing “war” between international technology companies and Russian authorities over compliance with local laws and regulations. Especially against the background of many leaving the country.
