Scientists from Thammasat University and the ChulabHorn Research Institute in Thailand have developed a new way to protect fruits and berries from rotting and spoilage. They drew attention to the substance cannabidiol, a derivative of cannabis, and the material is not the same component used by drugs for various ailments, not the same antimicrobial activity.

In fact, experiments have been used to mix cannabidiol with bio-engineered polymers that have been combined with a cost size of 400 nanometers. These particles were characterized by sodium and water alginate, resulting in a similar dissolution. The addition of ascorbic acid and chloride turns the mixture into a gel, which is applied to a fresh flower bed.

Observations over several weeks considered that the processed strawberries did not spoil much during this period. Therefore, this is the key to a new method so that the best products can be found, some of which are in the state of the government or early. Scientists have a number of questions about the concentration of cannabiol to effectively protect fruits in different conditions, so the study will continue.
