It’s great to work with a wireless keyboard, except when problems arise. It’s good that all these issues are out of place; but it is also of little value when such a keyboard does not work properly. You can do this if your wireless keyboard fails.
One of the most obvious solutions is to rule out hardware issues. If you have the option to use the keyboard on another computer or laptop, you can check if there is a problem with the keyboard. Does it not work on other computer? Then something is wrong.
Also immediately check if the batteries are full and if there are any batteries inside – someone else may have removed those AA batteries… Fill the missing batteries, charge the other batteries and see if everything works again.
Connecting the wireless receiver to a different port on your Windows computer or laptop may also help. Many wireless keyboards require such a receiver. If the receiver is not working on port one and working on the second port, there is a problem with your USB port. And then you unfortunately have another problem to solve.
If the receiver isn’t working there either, the problem may be there too – and then it’s not necessarily your keyboard.

Connection problems for wireless keyboard
Now that we’ve looked at hardware issues, let’s look at connectivity or wireless connectivity issues. Does your keyboard work with bluetooth? Then check if your computer has bluetooth and if the connection is open.
Other wireless devices nearby can also cause connection problems. Therefore, keep your smartphone, wireless mouse and wireless printer away from the keyboard for a while and check if the problems persist.
Finally, it might help to check if keyboard drivers are available. You can control this in three ways. Sometimes a keyboard comes with a program that needs to be installed. You can use this program to check for any updates and then install them right away.
You can also go to the manufacturer’s website and check for optional updates. If not, a bonus tip: just contact customer service.
windows update
The last option you have is to check if Windows has an update for you. In some cases, Windows Update brings a fix for common issues when it turns out that another update is disconnecting the keyboard (or any component for that matter).
To do this, open Start and type windows update inside. Select the top option. In the new window you will see that you can search for updates. If an update is available, you can also install it with the push of a button.
If all the solutions don’t work, it may be time for a new keyboard. View the wireless keyboards Bol.com offers here.
