If you love to create your own playlists on Spotify, you’ve probably built an entire collection over the years. You will soon lose track of all your listings. But Spotify has found something for it, namely playlist folders. How can you create these folders?
Playlist folders allow you to better organize your playlists, just like you do in Windows Explorer with files on your computer. To create a little more organization in your music library, you create a folder and drag playlists into that folder.
You can only create a playlist folder in the Spotify desktop app or in the browser. After creating such a folder, you will see it on all versions of the streaming service, including all your mobile devices.
Right-click one of your playlists to create a playlist folder and new map† A folder will then appear under the playlist. Right click on it and select rename for example to name the folder summer lists†

Now you can add the playlists you like to listen to in the summer to the new folder. You do this by selecting a playlist and dragging it into the folder. You can also easily create a new playlist in this folder by right-clicking it. create playlist† The new playlist will then be placed directly in the folder. summer lists stop.
This also works in the Spotify mobile app by going to the playlist folder and tapping the plus sign in the top right.
You can also create folders within folders by right-clicking on a playlist folder and new map to choose. Likewise you can go for option to pick up Click to delete the playlist folder. Note that all playlists in the folder will also be deleted immediately. This cannot be undone.
And that’s all it takes to organize your playlists!
