The new Moto G54 and Moto G84 were launched in Brazil this Thursday morning (14). They come with an attractive look and are part of the brand’s lineup of entry-level and mid-range devices for 2023, which also includes the G14.

Motorola has integrated 5G technology in two new mobile phones. The G54 is the most modest of the launches but has good appeal. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and stereo sound (Dolby Atmos) and speakers adapted for spatial audio.

Available in graphite, blue, green and navy blue colors. The design has straighter corners but slightly rounded edges to assist when holding.

The technical sheet of the Moto G54 includes the MediaTek 7020 processor, which promises good performance in basic activities and games. In Brazil, versions with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage or 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage are available; The mobile phone also has a microSD card slot. The battery is 5,000mAh with a 20W charger included in the box.

In terms of cameras, the G54 has two sensors on the back, one 50 MP (four pixels) with optical image stabilization (OIS) and the other 2 MP for macro photography. It has a 16 MP sensor for selfies.

Moto G84

The Moto G84 is the most rugged model in Motorola’s current lineup. It also has a 6.5″ screen with Full HD + resolution, but the screen is already pOLED. This screen also has technologies such as 10-bit color reproduction and maintains a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the G84 has two camera sensors: one is 50 MP (OIS) and the other is 8 MP, which works for ultra-wide, macro and depth-of-field photos. The front camera repeats the same 16 MP as in the most basic model.

The brand uses polymer as the main material in both mobile phones. The difference is that on the G84, vegan leather is available in three colors: graphite, blue and red. The appearance of both is similar, with a more square area for the rear camera sensors.

In terms of hardware of the device, we have Snapdragon 695 as the processor that comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The battery also repeats the 5,000 mAh of the other version, but with a faster 33 W charger.
