The next October 26th in China, Xiaomi will present its new flagship cell phone, Xiaomi 14and on the social network Weibo presented the first official renderings.

Some of its features are already visible: flat metal sides, like an iPhone, and a flat screen. The Xiaomi 14 also features a punch-hole selfie camera on the 6.36-inch screen and a square camera array at the back on the top left corner that houses three lenses.

In another publication, Xiaomi revealed the characteristics of its main camera. It will have a 1/1.31-inch main sensor with 1.2µm pixels that can be increased to 2.4µm if required.

As for glass, a Leica Summulix lens with f/1.6 aperture is mentioned here. This wider eye should allow access to more light than the Xiaomi 13’s main camera, which uses an f/1.8 aperture lens.

The Xiaomi 14 will reportedly come with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This will allow the phone to power up via cable faster than the current model’s 67W plug, which reaches 100% in just 38 minutes. The phone’s battery capacity is also set to take a decent jump to 4860mAh from 4500mAh. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to retain its already brilliant combination of 120W wired and 50W wireless power, but could see a slight increase in battery capacity to 5,000mAh.
