Apple unveiled its new MacBook Pro family at its Scary Fast event this Monday. Among them is the new basic version The 14-inch MacBook Pro, which replaces the 13-inch MacBook Pro. And this is goodbye to Touch Bar.

Touch Bar first appeared in 2016. Some people liked it, but not enough for Cupertino residents to consider it a long-term tool. It replaces physical function keys with an OLED touchscreen.

Apple has already excluded the Touch Bar from the redesign MacBook Pro 14″ and 16″ released in 2021. Since then, Apple has continued to update the Touch Bar model of the 13-inch MacBook with M1 and M2 chips. Until this Monday. M2 equipment will be available to third party retailers for a limited time.

The new MacBook Pro 14 is now available for pre-order and will officially go on sale on November 7th. The new model features a standard M3 chip, which is up to 60% faster than the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1. Thanks to an advanced thermal system, it enhances all the characteristics of the M3, the company explains in a statement.
