December 5 next year will be OnePlus’ 10th anniversary, and to celebrate it, what better way to celebrate than by launching a new phone, although echoes of the launch of its first foldable phone, the OnePlus Open, still reverberate. The new device was shown on the Chinese website Weibo. OnePlus 12which will actually be launched 5th of December in Shenzhen, China, and will be available in three colors: black, green and white.
It must be said that the design is very similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, although the notification slider, one of the features that fans liked the most (as it allowed users to easily switch between silent, vibration and ringing profiles), will now be located on the left side .

According to OnePlus, this design change was made to accommodate a new built-in antenna designed to improve signal quality and reduce latency when streaming games. On the OnePlus 11, the alert slider is in this exact location, so OnePlus has moved the slider to the opposite side on the OnePlus 12 to improve antenna performance.

On the official website we see a striking resemblance to its predecessor, although the color of the camera island now matches the color of the body, just like the similar Ace 2 Pro. In addition to glossy white and classic matte black options, the updated green design will have a matte marble look, as opposed to the previous smooth, glossy finish.

OnePlus had previously shared some key specifications in several Weibo posts. These include the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 3rd generationnew Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera 50 megapixels and periscope telephoto lens 3X 64 megapixelsboth with a magic touch Hasselbladstill.
We also learned from Engadget that in addition to the presentation in Shenzhen, a global release date will be announced – December 15th.
