Xiaomi announces Redmi K70 series, including three mobile phones and high-end options

Redmi K70 mobile phones were introduced by Xiaomi this Wednesday (29). The range consists of three models, each with a different offering.

The most powerful of the list, the Redmi K70 Pro, is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 24 GB LPDDR5 RAM and a maximum of 1 TB UFS 4 storage, while the Redmi K70 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Up to 2.16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4 storage.

Redmi K70 series mobile phones are very similar. Both feature a 6.67-inch TCL C8 OLED display that offers 2K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 3,840 Hz PWM and 4,000 nits peak brightness.

The front camera cutout is centered at the top of the screen and has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support.

Both Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro have USB-C port, Wi-Fi 7, NFC and Bluetooth 5.4. Additionally, the biometric reader is located under the screen.

Finally, the battery of both is 5,000 mAh with 120W fast charging support.

The camera set is also similar in both models: Redmi K70 and K70 Pro have a 50 MP main camera as well as optical stabilization (OIS) support. On the front, both have a 16 MP sensor.

However, on the Redmi K70, the secondary ultra-wide sensor has a resolution of 8 MP while the macro lens has a resolution of 2 MP. The Redmi K70 Pro model has a 50 MP telephoto lens (2x optical zoom) and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera.

Redmi K70e is the most economical option of the trio. The device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, up to 16 GB of RAM and a maximum of 1 TB of storage.

On the outside, the Redmi K70e has a 6.67-inch display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 1,920 Hz PWM and 1,800 nits peak brightness.

There is a 50 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro (macro) on the back. The front camera has the same 16 MP as the more expensive models.

Redmi K70e has a 5,000 mAh battery and 120 W fast charging support. Finally, there is compatibility with Wi-Fi 7, NFC, infrared, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C port for charging and data transfer.
