One UI 6 has finally arrived on Galaxy S22 handsets sold in Brazil. The update started rolling out on Tuesday (9) and should now be available to all users.
The package is identified as S908EXXU7DWK6, S908EOWO7DWL3 or S908EXXU7DWK4, depending on the device model. The build on the Galaxy S22 Ultra weighs around 3.3GB and comes with the November 1, 2023 security patch.
It is also worth noting that after this update it is possible for One UI 6 to notify the user about another pending package. In this situation, The build includes fixes, general improvements and a security patch for January 2024.
What’s new in One UI 6?
One UI 6 is based on Android 14, which inherits most of the new features Google introduced last year, but it also has its own quirks. The update brings a new look to the quick settings menu, refreshes the camera app interface, updates the appearance of emojis, and offers more customization options for the lock screen, among many other new features.
Download the update manually
If you have not received the update notification yet, it is a good idea to manually scan for the build. To do this, go to: Settings > Software update and tap “Download and install”.
The download and installation process may take a few minutes to complete; So make sure you only start the process when you can leave your phone idle for a while and with a significant amount of battery charge.
