AI is knocking so hard on the doors of the technology market that a well-known mobile phone manufacturer has decided to lift the curtain on phone production and devote itself entirely to artificial intelligence.

This is the Chinese brand Meizu, which released a promotional video in which it says that it will stop working on “traditional smartphone projects.” Instead of making Android smartphones, the company says it is “focusing on artificial intelligence.”

In the video, Meizu shows that it is not working on a continuation of the 20th series released last year. In accordance with GSMArenaThe Chinese electronics manufacturer does not specify whether it will stop producing smartphones completely. However, this applies to devices such as the Humane AI Pin and Rabbit R1.

As for the Android skin known as Flyme OS, it seems that the company wants to modify it and implement it in artificial intelligence endpoints such as car infotainment systems produced by its parent company. This new mobile operating system is reported to be released this year along with new hardware.
