After revealing the release date and processor model, Nothing has definitively confirmed the design of the Telephone (2a), which will be the first mid-range mobile phone to meet Xiaomi’s most economical models and smartphones such as the Pixel 7a. The company showed an image of the back of the device with important changes compared to the phone (2), although it retained the essence that is so characteristic of the brand.

Telephone (2a), in particular, will come with a transparent back, like the rest of the Nothing devices. Its camera, however, will not be located on the side, like the brand’s flagship, but will be placed in the center. There are two sensors visible on the module – likely a wide-angle camera and another ultra-wide-angle one – as well as a small protrusion that blends into the glass (or plastic, since Nothing gave details about the materials) on the back panel.

The most striking thing about the design of the Telephone (2a) is that will inherit the lighting system that the company includes in its high-end models.. In this case, yes, the terminal will only have three LED strips surrounding the camera area. They light up when the user receives a notification, a call, or activates the camera flash.

Apparently Telephone (2a) will not be compatible with wireless charging. At least this is evidenced by the promotional video that the company shared on its social networks. The Nothing video shows the terminal coming out of the box and has a transparent design that lacks the wireless charging coil.

Nothing Phone (2a) will go on sale in March.

A few weeks ago Nothing revealed that Phone (2a) will be announced on March 5 next year. The launch will take place in London at 11:30 (local time), so in Spain it will be presented at 12:30.

The Phone processor (2a) also did not confirm anything. The company will bet on MediaTek. More specifically, for Dimension 7200 Pro. This custom version regular Dimensity 7200, which will allow the company to achieve greater integration between hardware and software.

We will still have to wait for the official announcement of the Nothing Phone (2a) to know the rest of the specifications. However, the smartphone is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, 12GB of RAM and will be available in two storage variants. Its price can be around 500 euros.
