This Wednesday, April 3, India will host Motorola Edge 50 Proa new premium cell phone in the upper middle class segment.
This phone features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, a 1220p AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a triple camera setup.
Other features of Motorola Edge 50 Pro:
- It is built around a 6.7-inch curved POLED display with a 1220p resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
- The panel has a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits and is also the first smartphone with Pantone-verified colors for more accurate real-life colors and skin tones.
- The display is also equipped with a 50 MP front camera with autofocus and a built-in fingerprint scanner.

- On the back there is a 50MP main camera with f/1.4 aperture and optical image stabilization, along with a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens that also doubles as a macro camera.
- It features an AI photo enhancement engine with optimizations for motion capture and color segmentation.
- Motorola’s new Hello UI based on Android 14 that brings generative AI features to custom wallpapers.
- 3 years of Android operating system updates and 4 years of security patches.
- The Edge 50 Pro has a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, and is IP68 rated.
- The Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes standard in Black and Lavender colors. There is also a limited edition Moonlight Pearl designed by Italian design house Mazzucchelli 1849.

- Price starts from INR 31,999 ($383) for version 8/256 GB and climb up INR 35,999 ($431) for version 12/256 GB. Open sales in India are scheduled to begin on April 9.
