Apple has already confirmed that it will enter this market directly in 2024, after being left behind in the first wave of chatbots and AI resources.

However, the company does not intend to release its own language model or a platform built from scratch, as with Copilot, ChatGPT or Gemini. Instead, it aims to leverage existing tools by establishing partnerships with other companies in the industry.

At the beginning of the year, Apple CEO Tim Cook promised a “revolutionary” artificial intelligence for this year. The administrator stated that he is a ChaGPT user himself and has been closely analyzing the tool since last year.

AI features and iOS 18 as a whole are expected to be announced at the keynote of this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, or WWDC 2024.

The event, scheduled for June 10, will also include more details about the update of other operating systems and the possible introduction of new Macs with M4 chips.
