The Nothing Phone 2a Plus will also feature a new Mali-G610 MC4 GPU with speeds up to 1.3GHz. In layman’s terms, it’s “up to 30% faster at handling complex graphics and crunching numbers.” This is a phone that will be “built for gaming.”
One thing to clarify: While Nothing says the Dimensity 7350 Pro will be a “world exclusive” to this device, that’s a little misleading. The MediaTek Dimensity 7350 will appear in other devices later, but the “Pro” version is exclusive to Nothing thanks to a partnership, as it’s a custom chip.
This isn’t the first time Nothing has partnered with MediaTek to develop a custom chip. Nothing Phone 2a It was the first Nothing Phone to use a MediaTek processor, and it featured a custom Dimensity 7200 Pro processor.
There’s a few other things we know about the Nothing Phone 2a Plus. You’ll get 12GB of RAM and up to 8GB of RAM when you use up the available space. That’s it! The first teaser image showed some grooves that resembled the Nothing Phone 2’s charging coil, but that’s where our knowledge of the phone ends.
Nothing is planning to release the Nothing Phone 2a Plus on July 31.
