The long-awaited HMD device will be launched globally on August 28. Barbie mobile phonewhich we know from an image released on July 30 that it’s pink (of course) and that it will also be foldable.
The tentative name of the phone is Barbie Flip.
The guys at GMS Arena suggest that this Barbie phone will run either the S30+ or KaiOS: “This is in line with what HMD is saying about it, positioning it as a ‘digital detox’ phone that won’t let you scroll.”
It makes sense that this is a cell phone with little access to social media and a lot of notifications, especially considering that its target audience could be teenagers or even girls.
It’s also safe to say that it looks a lot like the Nokia 2780 Flip, as HMD already announced at MWC 2024 in February that all of its phones in this lineup would feature this design feature.
