There is only one day left until launch Nothing Phone (2a) Plusan improved version of the brand’s cheap mobile phone, but we already have an official look. Carl Pei’s company posted the first photos of the mobile phone on X (Twitter) and took the opportunity to show off its new silver grey color.
When the company officially unveiled the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, it was known that one of the main novelties would be in the aesthetic section. However, it is not known what exactly it will consist of. The images published on social networks show that this version of the device retains the design of the Phone (2a), but has a silver finish.
An interesting fact about this discovery is that the Nothing used a Silver Surfer reference in honor of the iconic character from Fantastic Fourto denote the new color of the (2a) Plus phone. But be careful: this does not mean that this is its official name. It is also unclear whether the smartphone will only be offered in this shade or whether it will also be available in black and white, like its predecessor.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be officially presented this Wednesday, July 31. The manufacturer recently confirmed some very important improvements in the technical section compared to the regular Phone (2a). Among them are the introduction of a new chip and an optimized front camera.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Key Improvements
In terms of SoC, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will feature MediaTek Dimension 7350 Pro. This octa-core chip runs at up to 3.0 GHz and offers about a 10 percent performance improvement over the phone (2a) that debuted with the Dimensity 7200 Pro. As for the Mali GPU, it will remain the -G610 MC4, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM plus 8 GB RAM Booster.
As for the rear cameras, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will have two sensors of 50 MP each. The modification will be visible from the front, as The selfie camera will also be 50 MP and not 32 MP, as in the model released in March of this year.
At this point, the manufacturer hasn’t revealed any other possible changes to the phone. We’ll see if the company has any surprises in store for tomorrow, or if the new chip and improved front camera will be enough to win the public’s interest.
It will be interesting to see what happens to prices.. The Nothing Phone (2a) made it clear that it is a very, very attractive option, which can be purchased from 329 euros. Of course, it is not a perfect option, since it fails in important areas such as photography.
