Apple event in October: what new iPads and Macs will be presented?

New MacBook Pro

One of the stars of the event will be the MacBook Pro, which can be upgraded with new processors. Gurman reported that the company plans to update 14 and 16-inch models with M4, M4 Pro and M4 Pro Max chips. This will make computers more powerful and efficient, and provide more artificial intelligence capabilities.

While there are rumors of major changes to the MacBook Pro design, such as reducing the thickness or including an OLED display, all of these improvements are not expected until 2026. Thus, the new MacBook Pro will have exactly the same design as the current models.

Mac mini, another protagonist of the Apple event

The hardware that could get a major update at Apple’s event in October is Mac mini. Rumors suggest it could have the same small design as the Apple TV, as well as no USB-A ports and five USB-C ports.

The Mac mini will of course also come with new Apple processors. This model is expected to be compatible with M4 and M4 Pro chips, while the Max model will be exclusive to Apple laptops.
