Samsung fans have been eagerly awaiting the update. One interface 7but we have bad news: according to a report at the Samsung developer conference, the release has been delayed until next year.

One UI 7 will be released along with the series Galaxy S25which won’t be released until January. It’s relatively safe to assume that updates will roll out to older devices after this.

Let’s be honest: this is not very good news. Considering that most people were expecting One UI 7 to launch this month, the three-month delay (to say the least) is completely unexpected and definitely not welcome. However, there is a silver lining. A beta preview of One UI 7 will be released later this year, and there’s a video of the Galaxy S24 Ultra running the new OS.

The video is just under 2 minutes long and shows off an incredibly clear and responsive system. It’s also very similar to iOS, but that’s not a bad thing. Samsung has redesigned several icons and added a command center that can be accessed on the right side of the screen and notifications on the left. The entire process looks smooth, with no visible lag in the demo version.

You may also see other adjustments, but these are smaller details that will likely change before the final version. One UI 7 has been extremely hyped, so only time will tell if it lives up to the hype. However, the delayed release and this video are enough to keep fans excited for a few more months until the update officially launches.
