Samsung’s most anticipated release in the coming months won’t necessarily be a cell phone, but rather an update to its operating system with the introduction of One UI 7.
And now the upcoming redesign has been revealed in an (obviously premature) video found on the website Samsung website is in Spanish.

This video shows off smoother animations and a redesigned Quick Access panel, with Quick Settings now packaged in bubbles just like in iOS. The Live Activities feature in tablet form also has some similarities to Dynamic Apple Island.
New features in One UI 7
Samsung says on its official website that One UI 7 will be heavily Galaxy AI-centric, with “AI at every turn” and a “sophisticated new look and feel.”
- new icons, a smart notification center, and a new lock screen with a quick view of your current activities.
- The Sketch to Image feature is already available on the latest Galaxy devices, but One UI 7 will come with more features like 3D cartoon, sketch, and watercolor.
- Editing the image will resize the image to 12MP and add a visible watermark to indicate it was created using AI.
- With Portrait Studio in One UI 7, you can use AI to turn your portraits into artistic profile photos with themes like Comic, 3D Cartoon, and Sketch.
- It looks like Samsung is adding some child safety features to the Galaxy Store in One UI 7. When purchasing apps for children’s accounts, permission from guardian accounts will be required.
- Search circle, Live Translate and AI Zoom capabilities. (These are features that are already in One UI 6.1.1 anyway)
Samsung did not provide any release date or launch information.
