Asus this Thursday (28) Zenfone 9 announcedlatest model of mobile phones Top features and compact size. Having become a tradition for the company, the Zenfone 9 tries to offer a plethora of camera qualities as a differential, including bringing a “hybrid gimbal” for image stabilization, in addition to its high-performance features.
Despite its small size, the Zenfone 9 includes a gimbal that uses both optical (OIS) and digital (EIS) stabilization to try to deliver better images, especially when shooting movies. This is accompanied by a 50 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera on the back of the device. The selfie camera has a resolution of 12 MP and all the sensors are produced by Sony.
The smartphone has a 5.9” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080p) with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The datasheet features the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which also guarantees compatibility with 5G connectivity for the Zenfone 9.
The new Asus phone offers 6GB, 8GB or 16GB RAM (LPDDR5) and 128GB or 256GB storage (UFS 3.1) options. All this is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with a 30W charger.
Zenfone 9 doesn’t have an official launch date in Brazil yet, but it has already been announced with a suggested price of €799, which is around R$4,200 at its current price in Europe.

Available in Midnight Black (black), Moonlight White (white), Sunset Red (red) and Starry Blue (blue) color options, Zenfone 9 incorporates technologies such as Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and stereo audio outputs. It also features a 3.5mm jack (P2) for headphones and supports up to two carrier chips, but no microSD expansion.
The device also has a factory-existing Android 12 and ZenUI 9 interface. The body of the phone is made with Gorilla Glass Victus on the screen and aluminum on the sides, but the back is made of plastic. On the other hand, Zenfone 9 is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
