Apple threatened to fire an employee for a TikTok post that went viral

Paris Campbell, Apple employee for almost 6 years, may lose his job as a hardware engineer in the company itself after posting a video on TikTok. As the employee herself shared, a company representative suggested that she remove the video in which she appears and gives security advice to a user who lost her iPhone if she does not want to have the consequences of being fired.

Campbell’s TikTok is sort of a response to another TikTok from a user who claims to have lost his iPhone during Coachella and subsequently received messages asking him to unlink his Apple ID from that iPhone or else her personal information would be sold to the black market.
