Comparison of cameras between latest iPhone

main sensor

Under good lighting conditions, we won’t find much difference between three rooms. The iPhone 14 has a bit more contrast and warmer ones, but there is practically no difference in detail. At the HDR level, the iPhone 14 can be a high point.

We come across very similar images in night photography. maybe iPhone 14 stands out in highlights, handles details better in these areas of the photo. We still have higher contrast, something you might like more or less. The iPhone 14 also handles night photography better, leaving the sky in its natural color.

ultra wide angle sensor

this the characteristics of this sensor have not changed in three generations, so it’s probably exactly the same camera. Therefore, the main differences will be given by processing.

Inside good light conditions, barely noticeable differences. At the level of detail and quality they are practically the same. And the same thing happens at night, we face pretty much the same catches.

Video

In the video section we find different modes on the most modern iPhone. this iPhone 14 has 4K Cinema Mode and Action Mode, iPhone 13 is compatible with 1080p Cinema Mode and iPhone 12 has neither of these recording modes.. But more than that, the differences we found are again minimal.

The iPhone 14 may have a wider dynamic range and slightly warmer tones, but they’re practically the same in quality, detail, or stabilization. Things change a little at night and iPhone 14 stands out with a sharper image.

Front camera

Yet we find very similar images. We find more details on the iPhone 14 while growing them. The front camera of the iPhone 14 has autofocus, which is appreciated and gives us more detailed photos. And the same thing happens a bit at night, with the iPhone 14 a bit ahead.

As we have seen, the differences between the three cameras are not huge. Frankly, the iPhone 14 takes better photos, but just not good enough for cameras to justify switching from one device to another.
