Honor made the official announcement of its new foldable phone this week. Honor Magic Vs offers advanced configurations that include the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor for a relatively competitive price of $1,050.
The new foldable phone was announced by highlighting some of its features from Honor’s official Twitter account. The device folds on a vertical axis to reveal the 7.9” FullHD display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Honor Magic Vs can also be used folded as it is FullHD, but has an external display that is 6.45 inches in size and has a higher frequency like 120Hz.

In addition to the processor, the device has a large 5,000mAh battery with fast charging up to 66W. The manufacturer also highlights the 54 MP main camera accompanied by a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The selfie camera is 16MP on the inside.
In terms of memory, it is foldable, offers 8 or 12 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB storage options. These options also determine the prices. This is the less memory model costing US$1,050 converted from 7,499 Chinese yuan – that’s roughly R$5,580 at the current exchange rate.
Honor Magic Vs starts shipping in China on November 30th. The manufacturer has yet to mention the possibility of an international launch for its new foldable model.
