Jony Ive’s company LoveFrom has teamed up with audio brand Linn for a big celebration!
Former chief designer of Apple, Jony Ive collaborated with Scottish audio company Linn to create a turntable to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary.. Though I haven’t worked in hardware since I left Apple four years ago. LoveFrom teamed up with Linn to produce a record player that sold for around £50,000, around $60,000.

According to the product description available on Linn’s official site, LoveFrom has applied its design expertise to new precision-machined power and speed control knobs and hinges.provides a nice and precise interaction with the turntable. Additional aesthetic enhancements have been made with deep respect for the Sondek LP12’s classic shape, product quality and integrity.
During sound enhancement is provided by Linn’s new Bedrok socket technology; It creates orthogonal layers placed under extreme pressure to create a completely new, solid and massive material. The resulting ultra-dense wood has negligible resonance and a superior isolation enclosure for the turntable mechanism.
Linn’s limited edition Sondek LP12 50 is now available for pre-order. 250 units will be produced and will begin to be sent to buyers in August 2023..
