A new prototype of the Tesla Cybertruck showed up in all its glory at an inaugural event of the Megafactory in Moss Landing, California. The site will host production of the Megapacks offered by Pacific Gas & Electric.
The new factory was presented with much fanfare with a special event open to the public. Surprisingly, among the guests of honor was also the long-awaited electric pickup Not just any version, but a new prototype with numerous innovations compared to the models spotted earlier in the US.

For example, the wipers are noticeably smaller with a perhaps more harmonious and less spartan result. The photos of the model shown during the inauguration offer a rare overview of the interior of the vehicle, which is, however, not complete in the prototype in question: the aribag are missing
In the meantime Tesla continues to work on the design of the vehicle, which should undergo some minor changes between now and its debut, expected – after numerous postponements – in 2023. However, Elon Musk has promised that at least one detail of the Cybertruck will remain unchanged: the door handles they will be absent.

Tesla recently closed pre-orders for its Cybertruck, the expected electric pickup to be released next year (but to be unveiled in 2020). For the time being, the decision concerns only two markets. Europe and China. Pre-orders remain open in North America, but it’s unclear for how long. We’ve talked about it here.
