Windows 10 and 11 have default shortcuts, for example, for trash on the desktop. These include This PC, User Files, Recycle Bin, Network and Control Panel. You may accidentally delete it. Fortunately, they are also easy to get.
This can be done via Settings under the Personalization tab. Go to Themes and look for Related settings at the bottom. There are also options for desktop icons. You can control the icons you want in the window and place them on the desktop with the Arrow.
If you still don’t see any icons after this, they may be hidden. Right-click on the desktop and check if the checkmark next to Show desktop icons in the context menu is checked.
