Images and technical specifications of Intel’s next-generation NUC computers have appeared on the Chinese platform Baidu. Serpent Canyon replaces Phantom Canyon with up to 14 cores in the i7-12700H and uses the Arc A770M GPU.

The popular laptop CPU includes 6 fast cores reaching 4.7 gigahertz and 8 energy efficient computing cores with 24 MB cache. The Intel GPU has 32 Xe cores and 16 gigabytes of gddr6 with a TDP of around 120 to 150 watts.

Then to the outside, which is equipped with quite a few connectors. An sdxc card slot on the front, Thunderbolt 4, usb 3.2 type-a and analog audio. There’s more audio, USB and Thunderbolt connections on the back, in addition to 2.5GbE, HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 2.0s. This makes this system one of the first to include the latest generation DisplayPort.

A release date has yet to be announced, but it should be soon. Also, there is no information about prices yet.
