New Skoda Epiq: an electric SUV made in Spain and at an amazing price

The Czech brand Skoda has officially presented the Skoda Epiq, an electric car that… has many opportunities to conquer the European market. The reason is simple: it has everything the modern consumer demands. This is an SUV with a 100% electric motor, the price of which without assistance will range from 25,000 euros. In addition, it will be produced in Pamplona (Spain), which is always a plus for the local market.

As for technology, Skoda does not disclose details, but mentions the presence of radars and cameras on the front grille of the car, the possibility of installing matrix headlights, the ability to access the car through digital keys on a mobile phone and the presence of a wireless charger for smartphones under the center console.

More than 400 km of autonomy WLTP

When it hits the market, Skoda will have to compete not only with traditional brands, but also with numerous Chinese companies that are starting to penetrate Europe. Among them are MG and BYD, which have already captured a certain percentage of the Spanish market share. Thus, it is a strategic tool for the group.
