After launching the Mi Band 7 this May, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Pro version of the world’s best-selling fitness bracelet.
The company has shared a short teaser of the Mi Band 7 Pro ahead of its official launch and confirmed that it will appear in the Xiaomi 12S series in early July.
In a recent post on Weibo Xiaomi shared a short presentation video of the next Mi Band 7 Pro. The video gives us our first look at a premium fitness tracker that has a much larger screen and better build quality.
At first glance, the premium fitness bracelet is very similar to the Redmi Smart Band Pro. However, unlike the Redmi Smart Band Pro, the Mi Band 7 Pro has a higher quality metal case. To be honest, it looks a lot like the Huawei Watch Fit.
While Xiaomi’s video doesn’t reveal more about the Mi Band 7 Pro, well-known insider Digital Chat Station has shared a couple renders that shed a little more light on the fitness band.
Leaked renders show that Xiaomi will release the Mi Band 7 Pro in two color options: one with a gold frame around the screen and a white strap, and the other with a brown frame around the screen and a black strap.
Both models will come with traditional watch-style straps, unlike the Redmi Smart Band Pro. As mentioned above, Xiaomi will introduce the Mi Band 7 Pro along with the Xiaomi 12S series on July 4th.
A premium fitness tracker will likely offer all the features of the more affordable version, plus a few extras. However, we currently have no information on the additional features it may offer.
