New smartwatch processors from Qualcomm promise to improve battery life and double the power.

We are talking about Snapdragon W5+ Gen1 and Snapdragon W5 Gen1. The former is the company’s flagship and the latter is a more compact version, although both have more than interesting news in terms of performance and battery life.

At the same time, not a single smart watch with any of these processors has been seen so far. Today we managed to find out Oppo Watch 3, which will be released in August, will be equipped with Snapdragon W5. It is true that we are talking about a complete series of smartwatches, but for sure at least one of them will carry one with him.

As for what we already know about both processors, the modem, Bluetooth, AON co-processor, RFEE and PMIC have all been improved. In addition, they are equipped with more processing power and therefore the overall experience will be much better than what has been so far.

However, despite these great events, The one that seems to get the most attention is associated with an improvement in autonomy of up to 50%.. All eyes are on those promises of very long battery life, so hopefully they actually hold up.

There are no more official details about this upcoming product line, but a previous rumor already stated that there would be three models of Oppo Watch 3. With all of this on the table, we just have to wait for it to hit the market, which we hope will be worldwide.

As for portable devices with these processors, it remains to be seen which of the new products include any of them, because we will certainly find a large number. We hope to have them in our hands so that we can show them to you in the future.
