A few hours ago, we unveiled two new Vivo models, the V25 and V25 Pro, both aimed at mid and mid/high range. Because, as we said, summer is the time of choice for smartphone brands that challenge the throne of price/quality.
In this sense, Oppo does not want to be left behind, although it has already released several other models this summer, including the older brothers Oppo Reno8 4G, which we are talking about today.
For those who don’t know, this is the eighth member of the Reno8 family and the specs are indistinguishable from the Reno7 released in early March, so don’t expect big changes.

The Reno8 4G features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Fully corresponds to modern equipment of the middle class.
As for the photo section, we see a 32MP selfie camera in the top left corner, while on the back is the main unit of a 64MP jTogether with two 2-megapixel modules for macro and depth.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 is in charge of everything, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, this is the only configuration available for this terminal.
The software that moves it all is, of course, Oppo’s own level: ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. Speaking of autonomy, we are talking about 4500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Oppo Reno8 4G release date and prices
Oppo Reno8 4G will be available in two colors: Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black. It’s on sale right now for $330.. How much did Oppo Reno7 cost, what a coincidence.
Normal phone sales will open on August 26 and we’ll have to see if it gets launched in Spain although everything indicates it will as its components are compatible with the bands here and it’ll be a good mid-range terminal.
