Qimingxing-50 is the name of the largest drone Chinese powered solar energy who took the test drive this weekend. These devices have been used for many years for various purposes, both civilian and military.

The Chinese drone is equipped with two fuselages and needs six propellers to fly. During the test, he managed to make a 26-minute flight. The aim is to flight duration of these drones until they may have a duration of months.

Extending the life of a drone can increase the number batteries or larger tanks for the fuel. Researchers have studied solar-powered devices that can stay in flight for longer or perform various functions during flight.

These drones are designed to light despite the size and the hulls used to make the solar panels. The limit is they can’t resist bad weather.

They are mainly made for flying stratosphere where they can watch over the earth as if they were gods satellites. Key roles they can play include environmental monitoring, geographic maps and communications. Further the cost launch speed is significantly lower than that of satellites.
