It’s certainly not the first time this has happened, but one state has filed a lawsuit Amazon. We’re talking specifically about California, which, as explained, has had issues with a specific company policy that has not been confirmed, whose pages of android police.
as the New York Timesit seems like it’s all about penalizing sellers who list their products at lower prices on platforms other than Amazon, like their own, for having a way of dealing with less cost.
It seems that by detecting this kind of behavior, the platform removes the button to buy quickly, known in Italy as “Buy now”, but this also applies to add to cart. All of this, of course, would greatly penalize sales and make purchases more difficult, although there are still no confirmations.
This should prompt sellers to increase their prices in other stores, which would obviously be an unfair practice by the giant.E-commerce. The rather serious practice would serve to destroy the online competition if confirmed, but of course we won’t know until the next few weeks if any action is taken.
