Apple has officially unveiled the iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 inches of the new generation. The appearance has remained virtually unchanged, while the chipset (and therefore of course the performance) changes. Both new iPad Pros feature the new chip Apple Silicon M2.

We’re talking about the same chip that we find on the latest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro: a 5nm chip that offers a performance increase of up to 18%, thanks to its 20 billion transistors (25% more) and a memory band of 100 Gbps.

If we go into the details, we find one Octa core CPU 15% faster than the M1 and one Deca core GPU 35% faster. In short, a great leap forward – which, however, could be practically imperceptible in everyday and non-professional use of the tablet. After all, the M1 chip was already a monster of power.

Both the new iPad Pro can be ordered from today, you can find them on the official Apple website. As of October 26, they will also be available in Apple Stores and other electronics stores.

The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at €1,069 for the Wi-Fi model and €1,269 for the Wi-Fi + 5G version. The 12.9-inch model is much more expensive, starting at 1,469€ for the Wi-Fi only version and 1,669€ for the 5G one. They are both available in silver and space gray and with a wide choice of different memory sizes (128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB).
