Instagram, the social network that dominated the audiovisual scene with an iron fist, until it came into being tik tak, there’s a lot of work to be done if it wants to regain its leadership in social apps. In its favor: it employs the best engineers and a huge user base.
But that doesn’t mean anything if they don’t come together as the competition is terrible and TikTok has been doing very well since its release in August 2018. But no one gives up here, the prize is too sweet to make it.
After announcing that Instagram began requesting verification of its users in Spain via video or ID scanning, app head Adam Mosseri once again posted his traditional video on social media explaining the upcoming changes to the app. facebook.

The platform explains that users must create a post first before opening the “Advanced Settings” tab to set when it should be published. After that, they will be able to choose the time and date of publication of the post automatically.
This should help creators and companies better plan and execute their content strategies: post scheduling is something creators have been asking for for years.
These are not the only changes to the Facebook app.
Instagram also sees its new achievement system as a way to reward and celebrate its creators. These new achievements will be primarily related to your activity in Reels and will reward you for things like collaborating with another creator.
Creators will also earn achievements based on how interactive their TikTok videos are. For example, if they constantly use Instagram polls through videos, contests, and other methods.
If the creator joins the current trend or discussion of the social media platform using the currently popular sound effect, it can also earn him an achievement.
The platform owned by Meta (Facebook) will notify creators with a notification if they have received an achievement from a recent Reels post. As you can see, changes have been made to Instagram to increase engagement, which is key if they want to compete with TikTok.
