After previous rumors about the X670E chipset for Ryzen 7000 processors, it is now certain that the first AM5 motherboards will be discussed at Computex. Gigabyte has confirmed the arrival of some X670-based models, with images also surfaced.

In a press release, Gigabyte states that multiple AM5 motherboards are planned, including the X670 Aorus Xtreme, Master, Pro AX and Aero D. There is no mention of the X670E chipset, although there are hints of PCIe 5.0 slots for both video cards. and SSDs.

Additionally, a now-hidden video has been spotted on ASRock’s YouTube channel, referring to both the X670 and the X670E, which will not be generally available for five days. According to the statement, the manufacturer will announce several new AMD motherboards, such as the 26-phase X670E Taichi. There is also mention of a special X670E Taichi Carrara Edition in honor of the company’s twentieth anniversary.

On Monday, May 23, at 8:00 am European time, AMD CEO Lisa Su will deliver a keynote in the context of the Computex trade show. Next-gen Ryzen processors and motherboards are likely to be covered, meaning more information is coming next week. Computex up to this year and May 27 inclusive.
