2024 Emmy Awards: ‘The Bear’ and ‘Shogun’ Top Nominees

The awards ceremony, delayed by the writers’ and actors’ strikes, has regained momentum. The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has officially announced 76th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees. The 2024 competition will be one of the most interesting, thanks to series such as Shogun, fall out or Bear.

The first nominees were announced during a live broadcast that featured Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph, winners of previous Emmy Awards. According to a press release, more than 22,000 Academy members voted to select the 2024 Emmy nominees.

The series that tops the list is Shogunwith 25 nominations in the Drama category, including Best Series, Best Actor and Best Actress. On the other hand, Bear is positioned as a favorite in the Comedy category with 23 nominations.

The 2024 Emmy Awards will take place on September 15, 2024. at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The broadcast will begin at 5:00 p.m. local time (2:00 a.m. September 16 in Spain).
