Everything cries out for redemptionLoosely based on Daniele Mencarelli’s novel of the same name, (winner of the Strega Giovani 2020 Award) and written and directed by Francesco Bruni, the series arrives October 14, only on Netflix: here’s the trailer and the official photos.

Seven episodes, one for each of the seven days of TSO (Compulsory Health Treatment) to which Daniele (Federico Cesari) is subjected. A week of isolation from the rest of the world as he faces his fears and digs within himself on a path of acceptance of himself and others that will lead him to forge the strongest, most sincere and true bonds of his life.
This is the summary:
Does ending seven days under TSO mean being crazy? Here’s what Daniele wonders, a twenty-year-old with over-sensitivity, who wakes up after a psychotic crisis in a psychiatric ward dormitory, along with five unlikely roommates with whom he thinks he has nothing in common, pressured by doctors they know. to rummage through his brain, and nursed by nurses who seem cynical and disinterested. But seven days are long, and what at first seemed like a sentence slowly turns into one of the most intense and formative experiences of his life. A dramedy of existences that restores the root of our best bitter comedy, reinterpreted in a contemporary key, as in a cry for help, heartbreaking but full of hope, of the new generations and their enigmatic discomfort of life.
