Return to Monkey Island he finally showed up with a first gameplay trailer on the occasion of today’s Nintendo Direct Mini. The video, which contains various game sections and cutscenes, shows a whole series of iconic characters of the saga reimagined in this new and highly anticipated chapter with one very specific visual style which differs well from the retro graphics of the early chapters.

Inside, players can enjoy modern point-and-click gameplay as they explore islands and solve puzzles. Return to Monkey Island is an exclusive console timeline coming to Nintendo Switch this year.
As can be seen from the trailer, Return to Monkey Island will be available on PC in 2022 and exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
