The accessory maker has revealed the design of the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2.. Satisfye, the company behind the accessories for the original Switch and the OLED variant, has released a video promoting ZenGrip 2, a product created for the Japanese company’s next-gen console. The clip featured an alleged image of the new device, which was clearly visible despite being blurry.

The footage did not go unnoticed and led many fans to believe that this image was the first official look at the Nintendo Switch 2. After the fuss, Satisfye deleted the video in questionwhich made everyone think that perhaps the Asians didn’t have to wait long to let him know their dissatisfaction with the situation.

While the accessory maker never officially mentions the Nintendo Switch 2, the ZenGrip 2 purchase page remains available. The product description mentions that it is prepared for the next generation Japanese model, although it is specified that its design trial and it will be optimized once the console’s final specifications become known.

However, Satisfye mentions that the launch of a new accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2 will take place. in the spring of 2025. Thus, it will be ready between mid-March and mid-June next year, when the device is expected to hit the market.

Although the image that appeared in the ZenGrip 2 commercial was somewhat blurry, it was clear that it was Switch style device. As we’ve said before, many fans are already considering this to be the first official look at the Nintendo Switch 2, although perhaps the wisest thing to do is to be cautious about it.

Either way, the console shown in the video looks very similar to the one we saw in the leaked alleged Nintendo Switch 2 design that came to light in September. Let’s keep in mind that the next generation of equipment from the Japanese firm will be very similar to the current model, but with some very noticeable specific differences.

Firstly, the Nintendo Switch 2 will have a larger screen than its predecessor. In particular, this will allow to achieve 8 inchesversus 6.2 inches of the original version and 7 inches of the OLED version. There are also rumors of a magnetic dock for the Joy-Con, replacing the rail system.

Meanwhile, previous leaks indicate that Nintendo’s next console will feature a GMLX30-R-A1 CPU and GPU. 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory. It will also have HDMI 2.1, which fuels rumors of long-awaited support for 4K gaming from a TV, and an Ethernet port for up to 1Gbps connectivity in the dock.
