The man, whose name is Nico in the video, pointed out that it is not fair to open a Christmas present and that it is simply a mug. He also emphasized that the gift he brought was a beautiful watch. For purposes of exchange, this family had offered to set at least 500 Mexican pesos (about 125,000 Colombian pesos).
Showing his anger, Mr. Nico told the others present that they would have been upset if it had happened to any of them. Likewise, his relatives asked him to calm down and take a good look at the gift he had just opened. Nico can see the disappointment on his face from the moment he opens the bag that his gift came in and is not afraid to ask if it was a joke.
“If we could all agree that these are at least 500 pesos gifts, (Mexicans) I was expecting something different, but they give me a glass”, claims the man in the first video describing the whole scene of his ordeal through the Tik Tok account of user @choco_juancho_hijo.

When Nico gets even more annoyed and doesn’t listen to the other guests asking them to look at the cup, One of the guests at the meeting tells him that he is willing to give him 500 pesos of the prescribed minimum.
Out of boredom and frustration, the man did not realize that the gift contained chocolate-covered bills worth 2,000 Mexican pesos (about 490,000 Colombian pesos). The embarrassed man chose to return the trophy with the money in it and keep the 500 pesos that was offered to him.
